Developing a Europe-wide circular economy training programme

Symeco has been the project manager of Climate-KIC’s circular economy programme since 2018. This included a feasibility study to understand the most effective form for the training to take place and create a curriculum. The curriculum was created using the work of Professor Dr. Fenna Blomsma from Hamburg University who with colleagues has analysed many circular economy approaches and created practical tools to allow businesses and organisations to create circular strategies.

Circularity Thinking has been delivered across Europe including Spain, Romania, Italy, Germany and the UK, and has also created sector-specific versions for the food, manufacturing, plastics and automotive sectors.
